As of 22:42 UTC, the vendor issue affecting scoring delays in us-east-1 has been resolved.

AWS has marked the incident as resolved in their own status page, and we haven't experienced any delays in scoring since 20:39 UTC, therefore we are marking this incident as resolved.

Update
As of 21:55 UTC, we continue to operate normally and with no scoring backlog.

We are continuing to monitor the status of the AWS service incident, which AWS current expects to have fully resolved in the next hour, but there is currently no impact on Learnosity's operations and all API and services are operating normally.

Learnosity Support and Systems Engineering teams are continuing to actively investigate the issue, and will follow on with an update and resolution as soon as possible.

Update
As of 20:43 UTC, Learnosity has taken measures to bypass Lambda functions for scoring until AWS recovers. Scoring backlog has cleared and we will continue to monitor the status of the AWS service degradation until AWS fully recovers.

Learnosity Support and Systems Engineering teams are continuing to actively investigate the issue, and will follow on with an update and resolution as soon as possible.

As of 19:40 UTC, Learnosity is working on mitigation efforts in parallel with work by AWS on the issue. We will also continue to monitor the AWS performance degradation and update this incident when we learn more.

As of 19:20 UTC, AWS has reported a degradation of performance of Lambda functions used for scoring. Learnosity is working with AWS to try to resolve the situation as quickly as we can.
